I listen to too much hiphop. But weirdly I also listen to obscure metal and hardcore.
Oh and fuck grebs, they give real metal a bad name. Most grebs only listen to it cuz it's "alternative". Most of them are posers. You don't need to wear makeup and dress in black to listen to heavy music, just like you dont need to wear oldschool trackies and bling to listen to hiphop.

I wouldnt really count ice t as hip hop,but ok,i listen to uk hip hop mainly,taskforce,braintax,jehst,an i dont like it just beacuse it mentions graffiti,doesnt matter to me i liked it before i was even into graffiti.
oh yea an fuck Grebs! with all there black hoodys,people are entitled to what they were an listen to,but they jus look fuckin pathetic.

Gangsta rap. You could argue whether that's hip hop for days, but for most people who listen to other hip hop, ppl like Ice T and Snoop Dogg are just funny, cuz they don't really rhyme and all their songs sound the same.

It is documented that many of the New York style leaders in the late seventies early eighties were not into hip hop . Seen was into rock stuff, Blade into jazz, others into pink floyd etc.
We were packaged Hip Hop in the early mid eighties, beat street, style wars,etc. They are connected through time/location. You dont have to be into hip hop to write graffiti and many of its practitioners dont.
Personally i like good music - good hip hop,funk,soul,ska, even pop if its done well........
Expand your mind.
